Peek into our wedding details

I’m not going to delve into the specifics but I’ll show you guys a teaser. : P

The skirt of my bridesmaid dresses. Isn’t the color just divine?

This is NOT my dress. This was the first dress I tried on. I thought I wanted a trumpet dress but nixed the idea after I wore it. Even though it was beautiful and fit me like a glove – I wasn’t in love with it. I looked like a mermaid and I wasn’t particularly a fan of Ariel’s scaly lower body. I’ve always been a fan of Sleeping Beauty. She just looks and fits the part of a princess, no? : )

Finished with make-up and hair. Off to the shoot!

What I have to learn: Learn to share. No one likes an over-slurper.

Some pictures from my bridal shower. I didn’t want anything extravagant. I love the warmth and pop of colors. Simple and sweet. But my camera decided that this would be the time to die on me. Fail.

Mother-in-law’s birthday dinner.

What the L.A. commute usually looks like on the 101. Bumper to bumper traffic. Never disappoints.

At out wedding drink/food tasting. One of the many highlights of this trip!

What we will be serving as our special alcoholic drinks. We’re having an open bar but I know these drinks will definitely be a hit with everyone.

These wild mushroom raviolis are out-of-this-world good. The one word to describe it? UMAMI. This dish has to be the best thing I have ever eaten. I’m so lucky I chose it!!!

We made a few changes but Paul and I are more than delighted with the chef. We can’t wait until our guests try them as well! They’re in luck – we’re having a buffet menu! : )*
