Off to The Green House!

Paul and I had dinner at The Green House tonight. We probably come by every 2-3 weeks or so. The Green House serves Lebanese, Greek, and International cuisines.

We’re in adoration over their garlic pita and their homemade hummus. But I found a new favorite dish: Arabic salad. The Arabic salad is a complete meal onto itself. It has fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and a myriad of spices. Now, I understand how, if a vegetable is prepared correctly, can transport your dining experience into something phenomenal. It truly was. I would consume this everyday, 3 times a day, …. until I get sick of it. : P

ImageGarlic pita is lightly toasted so it’s crunchy yet still soft and chewy. It’s smothered in some kind of tangy sauce and sprinkled with paprika. Perfection!

Watched the preliminaries for the Olympics. USA against Great Britain. I hear that this team is as good or better than our ’92 team? Them fighting words! Can’t wait to cheer them on!

    1. I know what you mean. I started loving garlic only a few years ago. And I started loving ginger just this year. I am slowing becoming THAT old Asian lady that we all know from somewhere! : P
