Hi ho. Hi ho. It’s off a-trekkin’ we shall go!

What a wonderful Sunday! Paul and I normally stay in during the weekends but we decided to go on an island adventure. We didn’t know what was open on Sunday so we decided to wing it! We headed up towards Westpunt after lunch and became tourists for the day. Spontaneity wins over planned out trips in my opinion. : )

Disclaimer: Many pictures ahead. I went a little camera crazy today. C’mon. I was a tourist! : P

Zipped along for 20 minutes until….

Heheeeeeee.

We were only at the park for an hour because Paul’s flip flop broke in half! Of all places! But it’s ok. We decided to explore some more. After 10 minutes or so, we decided to grab an early dinner @ Sol Food. We were expecting a casual island snack shop but we were surprised to see it being run by an American couple. This place was unexpected and literally, a diamond in the rough.

Utensils used as wind chimes. Cute!

Best pizzas in Banda Abou. How can we say no?

My iced tea with lemon.

Paul’s Polar beer. Very small beers.

Toppings for our pizza.

Vegetarian pizza. The pizza was bland but won points on fresh produce.

All in all, such a wonderful day! Got back home after 3 hours or so and hit the gym for an hour. Began to daydream and realized an hour had flown by! 600 calorie deficit. Yes! : )
